WATCH: CNN Anchor Slams Trump With The Hard Truth About Puerto Rico On Live Television — [VIDEO]

It’s really not a secret that Donald Trump loves to ignore facts. Quite the opposite actually, he loves to fabricate his own reality and then tweet it out to the masses, hoping that they will buy into it. Well, we’ve got news for you Donnie boy, we aren’t buying it. We all know how delusional you really are.

CNN anchor Alisyn Camerota tore into President Trump after he alleged that Democrats inflated the 3,000-person death toll from this past year’s hurricanes in Puerto Rico to make him “look bad.”

“We need to deal with the facts, which is these 2,975 people did not die of old age,” Camerota assessed on “New Day” in reaction to Trump’s claim on Thursday.

“That is not true. That is not true. They did not die of old age — they died of neglect,” she added while citing the 2,975 people the Puerto Rican government argued had likely perished on the island due to Hurricane Maria, which is far higher than the government’s initial official death toll of 64.

“They would be alive today if they had had electricity if they had been able to get their medicine if they had been able to get water,” Camerota continued. “Those are the people that are counted.”

Trump stormed to Twitter early Thursday to attack Democrats, accusing them without evidence, of raising the death toll, which was included in an independent report released by Puerto Rico’s government last month.

“3000 people did not die in the two hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico. When I left the Island, AFTER the storm had hit, they had anywhere from 6 to 18 deaths,” the president tweeted. “As time went by it did not go up by much. Then, a long time later, they started to report really large numbers, like 3000.”

Trump went on to suggest on Twitter that the death toll was constructed “by the Democrats in order to make me look as bad as possible when I was successfully raising Billions of Dollars to help rebuild Puerto Rico.”

“If a person died for any reason, like old age, just add them onto the list. Bad politics. I love Puerto Rico!” he continued.
